SPX Tracker

Your spreads, watched all day.

A menu‑bar app on macOS — a system‑tray app on Windows — that watches your SPX put credit spreads through the Interactive Brokers API. The icon shows the live probability your nearest expiry finishes worthless — green when you can ignore it, red when you shouldn't. macOS shows the number in the menu bar; on Windows, hover the tray icon for it. Click for every spread at once.

Available on request · macOS & Windows · Requires an IBKR Pro account

Version 2026.3.3, released 9 September 2026 (macOS). Windows: 2026.1.1, released 4 September 2026.

SPX Tracker isn’t publicly downloadable — email us to request access. Requests are reviewed, and once yours is approved we’ll send you a copy directly.

Talks to Interactive Brokers and nobody else. Your positions and credentials never touch our servers, because we don't have any.

By downloading or using SPX Tracker you agree to the License Agreement & Risk Disclaimer. Not financial advice — signals are mechanical computations from thresholds you configure, and every trading decision is yours alone.

The SPX Tracker menu open in the macOS menu bar, showing two working orders, two SPX put credit spreads at WATCH with their probability of profit and distance from the short strike, the total contracts and capital at risk, the current SPX level, and a paper-trading warning.

Every spread, its tier, and what’s at risk — one click from the menu bar.

Probability, not vibes.

Live probability of profit for each spread, computed from SPX spot and the short strike's implied volatility — and a SAFE / WATCH / DANGER / BREACHED tier so you know at a glance whether to act.

Speaks up when it matters.

Notifications and email when a position's tier worsens, when a spread is in danger, and for the end‑of‑day check — the same escalation rules all day, without you refreshing a screen.

Read‑only by design.

SPX Tracker watches; it never trades. It works with IBKR's Read‑Only API setting, so the broker itself enforces that the app can't place an order.

What you need

SPX Tracker is a monitoring tool, not financial advice. It estimates probabilities from market data; it does not predict markets, and it never places trades.
