Move to the edge of one screen and your cursor appears on the next. Move back and control returns. It feels like one big desktop, because that's the only gesture there is to learn.

Copy on one machine, paste on the other. Text syncs automatically in both directions, so a URL or a password stops being something you retype by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a hardware KVM switch?
A hardware KVM means a box on your desk, a cable to every machine, and a button to press. AcrossKM runs over the network you already have, needs no extra hardware, and switches when your cursor crosses a screen edge.
Doesn't macOS already let me share a keyboard and mouse between Macs?
Universal Control works between Macs and iPads signed in to the same Apple ID. AcrossKM works across different Apple IDs — a personal Mac next to a work Mac, or a machine you share with someone else in the house — and it supports Windows, which Universal Control does not.
Do the computers have to be on the same network?
Yes. AcrossKM connects them directly over your local network, wired or Wi‑Fi. That's what keeps it fast, and it's also why your keystrokes never leave your own network.
How many computers does one license cover?
Three, in any mix of Macs and PCs. If you need more, get in touch.
What happens when my update year runs out?
Nothing. The version you have keeps working forever. You'll simply stop being offered newer ones until you renew, and renewing is optional.
Which versions of macOS and Windows are supported?
macOS 14 or later, and Windows 10 or later. Any combination works — Mac to Mac, Windows to Windows, or Mac to Windows.
